# Finding the Register ID in Shopify POS

Before you fiscalize your register in OpenFiskal, it’s important to make sure you’ve selected the **correct register**. The register ID in Shopify POS must match the ID shown in OpenFiskal exactly.

###### How to find the register ID in Shopify POS
1. **Open the Shopify POS app** on your device and log in with your user account.
2. If you’re using Shopify POS on a tablet, tap the **“Register” icon** at the bottom left of the home screen.
On a smartphone, tap the three dots in the bottom right corner and then tap **“Register”**.
3. The **register ID** will be shown under **“Sales register”**.
