# Where can I find my invitation code from my tax office?

**To connect with your tax office in OpenFiskal, your tax office first needs to add you as a merchant and send you an invitation.**
* You will then receive an email at the address your tax office has provided.
* This email contains a code that you need to enter in your Shopify Meldefluss app.

**If you can’t find the email:**
* Check your spam folder.
* Ask your tax office to confirm that the invitation has already been sent.
