POS Apps in OpenFiskal

POS Apps extend OpenFiskal directly within Shopify POS. They can be activated based on individual needs and support key workflows at the register, such as displaying the fiscal status of a register. POS Apps can be added either through the Shopify Admin or directly in Shopify POS.

Available POS Apps

OpenFiskal

• Displays the current fiscal status of the register.
• This POS App is used for quick verification that the register is fiscally compliant and correctly fiscalized.
• It is particularly useful for daily operations as well as audit or inspection situations.

Z-Reports

• Open and close OpenFiskal Sessions, see POS Sessions in OpenFiskal.
• Prints Z-Reports on an AirPrint or Android Open Accessory (AOA) compatible printer.
• Z-Reports can be printed directly from Shopify POS.

Handoff by OpenFiskal

• Transfers the cart total amount to the SumUp Solo card terminal.
• The total amount is automatically sent to the card terminal.
• Payment processing is handled by SumUp and the transaction must be manually marked as paid in Shopify POS.

Receipts

• Prints OpenFiskal digital receipts on an AirPrint or Android Open Accessory (AOA) compatible printer, provides them as a QR code for scanning, or delivers them via email.

Lottery Code for Italy

• Enables the entry of the lottery code (Codice Lotteria) during a sale. This feature is exclusively available for Italy.

Manage POS Apps

Using the Manage button opens Shopify’s native POS App settings within the Point of Sale channel, where POS Apps can be added or removed.
