Create users for “Cash register web service” in the Austrian FinanzOnline “Cash registers” function:

After logging into the FinanzOnline portal, click on the function selection Cash registers and then on Create a user for cash register web service. This will take you directly to the user data entry screen shown below.

Please fill in the following 3 fields in this view:

User ID: Any term between 8 and 12 characters in length that must contain at least one letter and one number. Umlauts and special characters may not be used in the mandatory User ID field.
PIN: Any term between 8 and 128 characters in length that must contain at least one letter and one number.

Umlauts and the following special characters are permitted: !#$%*+,-./:;=?@_()[]{}|~

PIN repetition: For security reasons, please repeat the PIN.

Then click on Create in the bottom right corner. This will create your user for the cash register web service and your participant identification (TID) will be displayed on the screen.

The data of this specially created user has unique authorization to authenticate the taxpayer's cash registers in the FinanzOnline portal. The user data cannot be used to log in or for other web services in the FinanzOnline portal.
