How to find your TSE serial number in the OpenFiskal App:

You need your TSE serial number, for example, for the cash register report or to provide to your tax advisor. Here’s how to find it quickly and easily in the OpenFiscal App in Shopify (see below).

Steps to view the TSE serial number:

Log in to your Shopify admin area.
Go to the Apps menu and open the app “OpenFiscal.”
In the OpenFiscal menu, click on “Cash Registers.”
Select the cash register whose data you need (e.g., “Register 1”).
In the detail view, you will see the serial number of your TSE displayed:

- TSE serial number
- Commissioning date
- BSI certification ID

💡 Tip: Use the small copy icon to the right of the serial number to copy it directly to your clipboard.

With the “Meldefluss” app, you can now securely submit your cash register report directly from Shopify — including ELSTER-compliant transmission.
Click “Install Meldefluss App” directly under the serial number.
