Quick To-Do before you begin: Test the OpenFiskal app, fiscalize your cash register, and perform your first fiscalized sale!

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started with the OpenFiskal App:

1. Basic Set Up

1. Open the OpenFiskal App in your Shopify admin
2. Navigate through the settings to ensure your country (Germany or Austria) is selected.
3. Embed the QR code snippet into your printed receipts. Setup Guide: Display TSE and RKSV QR codes on printed Shopify receipts.

2. Fiscalize Your Register

• Make sure your registers show up as Fiscalized on the Registers page. If they are not on the table, press the "Add registers" button to add a new register:

• If you were using the Shopify TSE App before, follow Migrating from the Shopify TSE (KassenSichV) App to OpenFiskal.

3. Carry Out a Test Sale

1. Open Shopify POS
2. Perform a test sale by adding a product to the cart and completing the checkout process.
3. Print the receipt to verify that the QR code is displayed correctly. If you have trouble connecting the printer to Shopify POS, see this Shopify Help Article or contact us.

4. Ensure All Orders Are Signed

1. Open the OpenFiskal App and navigate to the “Receipts” section.
2. Click on the newly created receipt from your Test Sale.
3. Verify that the receipt is signed and all the displayed data is correct.
4. If any orders are unsigned, check the app settings or restart the POS app and receipt printer.

5. When you are ready, go Live.

1. Open the OpenFiskal App and navigate to "Settings"
2. Open the "OpenFiskal Plus" page:
