When & how OpenFiskal QR codes appear on printed receipts
This help page explains when and how QR codes (TSE/RSKV) appear on cash register receipts, what you need to do to generate them correctly, and how to reprint original receipts with QR codes if necessary.
When does the QR code appear on the receipt?
The QR code appears on every sales receipt. You can read here what is contained in the DE TSE QR code. It is similar for the AT RKSV code.

Summary:
- For receipt type Sale (cash/card) and for all payment methods, such as vouchers, the QR code (TSE/RSKV) is included
- For test purchases (0 EUR), provided that the cash register is fiscalized
- For returns and exchanges - No
Check receipt type:
- QR codes appear only on sales receipts.
- For returns, you must reprint the original sales receipt instead (see below).

How can I get the original receipt with the QR code again?
If, for example, you make a return and the customer wants the sales receipt (including the QR code) again:
- Search for the original order in Shopify POS.
- Select “Reprint receipt.”
- The original receipt should then be printed with all fiscal information (including the QR code).
Additional
- For TSE-fiscalized receipts, the QR code contains the following information:
- Cash register SN
- TSE signature
- Transaction number
- Signature counter & signature
- Time of creation
